Hey guys just a heads up regarding the NCAA bracket that we are all on the verge of;
YOU should make it a point to come by www.trendbetting.com on Monday March 18 and take a look at our bracket. The Contender database is loaded with all historical tournament relevant statistics, just waiting for the matchups to be set, and this takes the guess work out of picking a winners. Seriously, how do you analyze a 2nd round matchup of 2 teams you might not have ever seen play and know virtually nothing about. And once the teams and all their data are input the database takes round by round relevant comparisons and gives a winner that has been extremely accurate in the past.
HOW ACCURATE??? Im so glad you asked.
In 2012 our bracket lost 1 game in the first round and 3 games in the second round. In 2010 we picked a perfect first round and had 13 of the sweet 16.

I dont want to just say "come to my website" without offering something in return.
SO i will share some of the trade secrets we have used since 2005 to win a lot of tournament games and bracket challenges and also let you register for the tournament information absolutely free.
Here is what we program in to get an edge round by round.
1- First and foremost is that after nearly all the 'sheep' are herded out in the first round you have a tournament of very good teams facing other very good teams. So the database formulates a scoring average for each team in the field based only on the games they played against other good teams this season. Other ranked teams and winning teams, (that 91-45 win that Ohio State had over UMKC in game 5 does not get figured into their scoring data, but the Buckeyes 56-59 loss AT Michigan State counts and counts for a lot) and in this way we get an average that is based on quality opposition and does not include the "JV" games.

2- the fact that there is no home court advantage in the tournament.
the database adjusts the home scores of each team through the season and "weights road scores/wins and nuetral court games.

3- the historical basis of the bracket layout:
we have an overide in the program that stops a team from advancing beyond what its seed has historically done in the tournament.

4- the prediction is factored largely by what round we are in and what is the primary issue of each round.
what is a primary issue?
The primary issue of the round of 32 is that teams are playing on short rest
The primary issue of the sweet 16 is that coaching matters a lot and programs with experienced coaches get out of the round of 16 at a very high rate
The primary issue of Elite 8 is squads with Jrs and Srs who have played together not only all year but year after year have an advantage
The primary issue of the final 4 is who has an NBA superstar talent
These issues are all factored into a prediction that has reason and data behind it.

Thanks for reading and letting me share some of our information with you. And when you surf on by the website, click register where you get a login and password absolutely free and no obligation. March is the only month we offer the subscription at $0 and no obligation so take advantage of it!
